Bored? Stuck at home with a pre-schooler or two? Have some free time to look after yourself?

If you want to build your self confidence and identify a plan for your future, then Women in Learning is the course for you. It’s a great way to meet new friends and learn new skills to strengthen yourself and your family.

What are the Career Opportunities?

Women in Learning can open doors for you if you wish to get back into further study or the workplace. It’s designed around helping you learn what you need to know in order to move forward with your training or job options.

What is the Qualification?

The course identifies the skills you already have, and the skills you would like to gain.

Weekly workshops cover topics such as managing your life assertively, problem solving, effective communication, writing to impress, basic maths, creative and critical thinking and producing a plan for future directions.

What are my Study Options?

Women in Learning is delivered in Wanganui on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, at the Training For You campus in Ingestre Street, Wanganui, from 9:00am to 12:00noon.

You are able to join the class at any time. If you have preschool children, there is also a supervised playgroup available.

How Much Will it Cost?

The course is FREE and there is no charge for the playgroup.
